Why is my wired internet connection slow now?

My computer runs fast with other tasks that dont involve internet use but when I go to browse the internet it's slow anything that involves streaming is super slow. It's never been like this, only today. On speedtest.net I would avg 15-20mbps now im averaging 1-2 mbps steady.
